Brittany has a decade of communications, public relations, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement
experience in the federal policy and higher education sectors. Since graduating from Old Dominion
University, she has served as a communications executive at three large national organizations including
performing as Press Secretary advocating on regulatory, policy, and programmatic issues of national
concern to the public, media, congress, the Executive Branch, and the White House.

Brittany has active relationships with journalists across the globe and is a recognized expert at strategic
content placement in television, print media, and digital platforms. Her public relations talents include
prepping senior officials for interviews on syndicated television, such as Good Morning America, Jimmy
Kimmel Live, BBC, CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, and more. As a chief spokesperson for several large national
organizations, she continues to offer exclusives to trusted colleagues at diverse national and
international publications including The Washington Post, Newsweek, NBC News, Politico, Buzzfeed,
Bloomberg Law, Federal News Network, Government Executive Magazine, Libération, and more.

Brittany is an experienced promoter of organizations and ideas that augment regulatory and legislative
environments. Of note is a series of rallies that Brittany developed that drew thousands to the nation’s
capital to oppose the 2018-2019 federal government shutdown, while also coordinating smaller events
in cities across the country. These rallies earned heavy national and international media coverage that
directly pressured Capitol Hill leaders to end the shutdown. Brittany creates innovative awareness and
action campaigns, often on politically sensitive issues, including a successful campaign to save 1,000
federal jobs that disproportionately affected minority communities across the country, and a movement
that resulted in an independent investigation of systemic racism at one of the largest departments in the
federal government.

10+ years in media and congressional & regulatory affairs creating dynamic national campaigns in disparate venues.
